Notes: This song is also included in the Dance drama 'Maayar Khela' sung by the chorus. This song had been included in another dance drama called 'Nabina' and due to be staged on 4th March, 1931 on the occasion of 'Basantotsava'. Elizabeth Brener a Hangarian student of the Kalabhavan took a dramatic entry while the rehearsal was in progress and started dancing violently. The poet did not prevent her as he knew that Elizabeth was attracted only by the melody and rhythm of the song. She had not been exposed to Bangla till then. This how Elizabeth Brener attached heself to the history of the song.
