Hironkumar Sanyal in his book ‘Porichoyer Kuri Bochhor’ has written –
… The poet had travelled from Bolpur to Kolkata by train. Dinendranath too was travelling with Him but he was in the next compartment. A new song erupted in Rabindranath’s mind – both the lyric and the tune at the same time – as it has happened in quite a few songs. Dinendranath was summoned immediately from the next compartment. The new song was transferred to him and it was preserved forever, not in pen and paper but on the voice of Dinu-babu. He would not forget a song that he has once heard from the poet, regardless if the poet Himself had forgotten it. … then they both sang the song written in the traincar in duet ‘ Aanonodogaan Utthuk Tobe Baaji …’.
