Notes: This song was written on 19th September, 1914, however a tune was assigned to it in the year 1936.
Probhatkumar Mukhopadhyay, in 'Geetabitan Kalanukromik Suchi' has written that a dramatised form of the novel 'Jogajog' had been staged at the Star Theatre in 1936. It was directed bt Shishir Bhaduri. At this time Rabindranath had composed a tune for this poem, twenty-two years after it had been written. Soon it was imparted to Shailaja-ranjan Majumdar.
