This song finds its mention in the Shree Shree Ramakrishna Kathamrita that Narendranath Dutta had sung this song among with another one 'Tomarei Koriyachhi Jibiner Dhrubatara ...' to Shree Ramakrishna on 24th October 1885. These two songs are included in the book 'Sangeet-kalpa-taru' published by Swami Vivekananda.
