When I read those songs in the book, my mind immediately goes back to those evenings, mornings and nights, when the poet had been murmuring, composing tunes and calling me - 'Come here at once, take this song or it would be lost after a while.'
The first song that was written after reaching Budapest was 'Path ekhono shesh holo na …'. It was a pale evening, snow on the rooftop and vegetation all around had looked like a fantasy. Tired was the poet, who sat on an easy-chair in the drawing room and penned the song. …
