Three songs were written on the occasion of Nandini's (adopted daughter of Rathindranath) marriage on 30th december, 1939. The personal references were later altered in order to convert these three songs to Brahma-sangeet very much like a few other songs written on simillar occasions. These songs are referred to in 'Jatrapather Aanondogaan', written by Shailaja-ranjan Majumdar –
... The starting line of this song was 'Dujoner milonodine' instead of 'Premer milonodine' when it was first sung in the marrige ceremony. Later Gurudev had altered it in order to match the requirements of prayers of Maghotsava. The first word in the Sanchari section read 'Tomader' which was changed to 'Premer' in the same way. The early version seems to have been lost as the later one is more popular. ...
