Kakhon  je shukaye jaay, phele dey re anaadare.
Tora sudha koris daan, taara shudhu kare paan,
Sudhaay aruchi hole    phireo to naahi chaay –
Hridayer paatrakhaani      bhenge diye chole jaay.
Tora kebol haasi dibi      taara kebol bose aachhe –
Chokher jal dhekhile tara     aar to rabe na kaachhe.
Praaner byatha praane rekhe     praaner aagun praane dheke
Paran bhenge modhu dibi    ashruchnaaka haasi hese –
Buk phete, katha na bole    shukaye poribi sheshe.
