He had gone through arduous training from Late Pijush Kanti Sarkar that laid his foundaton of Rabindra Sangeet. Presently he is in the course of training from Smt. Shraboni Sen and Sri Sutanu Roy. He is learning Hindustani Classical Music from Smt Majushree Basu. Apart from the vocal art form, he is also equipped with a masterly training on Tabla. He has been a student of Late Chaitanya Jena and now attached with the school of Pandit Biswanath Mukhopadhyay. He is an ardent lover of Literature too. Writing a book on Cancer Patients goes to his credit.
