about supti chakrabarti: Started training in Indian Classical Music (Vocal) at the age of 9. She has learnt khayal from various Gurus, one of them is Ustad Rashid Khan. She has been on stage from a very early age at school & college rendering songs at Haldia, Rourkela, Farakka, Kalpakkam, Kolkata. Her mother was a good Rabindrasangeet singer. She, Rabindranath & Rezwana Chowdhury Bonna has inspired her to sing Rabindasangeet. She has 3 CD's of Rabindra Sangeet, the 4th one is yet to be released. Had the honour to sing in front of Sri Sunil Gangopadhyay & numerous poets & musicians twice at Krittibaser Adda. She has also sung in Tripura, Sunderbans, Boi-chitra College st, Asiatic Society, Park Street, Jibanananda Sabhagriha, Ichhe potrikar adda, R G Kar Medical college, Purulia, Burdwan to name a few.
