about atreyi majumdar: Atreyi majumdar is a versatile classical, folk and Rabindra sangeet singer. She started her musical journey from 2 yrs of age through the hands of Mrs Purnima Roy. She took 10 yrs of training in classical music from Sree Saibal Dasgupta. Mrs Jhumur Chatterjee trained her in semi-classical, folk and devotional music. Her biggest life changing moment came when she took training in Rabindra sangeet from Sreemoti Swagata Laxmi Dasgupta, whom she still considers her "Guru Mata". More about this singer with songs.
