about brinda roychoudhury: Brinda Roychoudhury has learned Light Music from Smt Mahasweta Roychowdhury and Late Smt Krishna Dasgupta. She has also learned vocal classical under guidance of Pandit Rajan & Sajan Mishra, Pandit Ajay Chakroborty. She has completed an eight-year (6+2) Diploma in Rabindrasangeet (equivalent to Masters) from Bangiya Sangeet Parishad, Kolkata. She is currently learning music from eminent singer/composer Shri Ramanuj Dasgupta and Tagore songs from Dakshinee, Kolkata. She is a graded vocal artist in the general category in All India Radio and empanneled vocal artist of ICCR (Indian Council for Cultural Research, Govt. of India) since August 2008.
