Completed five year diploma course in Rabindra Sangeet from Geetabithi Kolkata (singing school conducted by Subinoy Roy and Amar Lahiri). Attended special training class in Rabindra Sangeet of Suchitra Mitra, Subhash Choudhury and Tarit Choudhury. Done a special course in Nazrulgeeti from Purabi Dutta. Attended special training class in Hindustani Classical from Debi Ranjan Banerjee. Currently learning from Ashish Bhattacharya. She is a Rabindra Sangeet artist [B High] of All India Radio Kolkata from 1970 – present. Rabindra Sangeet artist of Doordarshan Kendra Kolkata from 1990 – present. Performed live in "Good Morning Akash" on August 28, 2017. Performed in "Bangla Sangeet Mela" in 2016-17, Jorasako Thakurbari and various programs in London, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore.
