Parjaay: Anushthanik Sangeet (15)
Written on: 1940
Swarabitan: Notation not available
Notes: This song was written on 2nd November, 1940.
Rabindranath was in Jorasanko with his ill health. He had received a request from Lord Bishop from Kolkata to write a few words for a relief camp to be established for the blind. Lord Bishop was a close friend of Andrews who had died recently. Rabindranath could not waive out his request and wrote this song and sent it. A tune, presumably, was not composed for it as there is no reference found in any contemporary memoires and no notation had ever been prepared.
