She has completed B.Mus from Calcutta University, Diploma in Rabindra Sangeet from 'Gandhorbi' institution and Diploma for Sangeet Bhushan in classical music, Chandigarh, also the recipient of appreciation certificate of WB Sangeet Academy.

She is trained by Mr Prasad Sen, Dr Chitralekha Choudhury, Smt. Kheya Chatterjee and Smt. Arundhati Deb. She has performed in AIR Calcutta general section, 'Sokal Sokal' at Doordarshan Kolkata. On 5th July 2015, she has participated in Sangeet Bharati Muktadhara's choral concert 'Echos of Gitanjali' – a thousand voice Rabindrasangeet presentation at Netaji Indoor Stadium, Kolkata. In 2016, participated in World cultural festival, at New Delhi. Also, a frequent solo performer in various government and non-government platforms and channels.
