Her first music teacher is her mother Smt. Nilima Chakraborty since the age of 3 years. She has taken Rabindra Sangeet lessons from Late Sri Shailen Das and her mother. She has received lessons on Classical Music from Late Sri Bechu Mukhopadhya and Sri Swapan Sarker.
She has participated in various musical programs and competitions from her childhood at state level. She has participated in Galpo Dadur Asor in Akashvani, Kolkata and also participated in various TV programs in DD Bangla, ETV Bangla and Akash Bangla.
She has received 1 year scholarship from Nehru Children’s Museum in Rabindra Sangeet.
She is still learning. She believes that there is no end of learning.
