Sunanda has been trained by eminent exponents' Subinoy Roy, Maya Sen, her father Saila Kr.Ghosh and also Niherranjan Bandopadhyay in classical Vishnupuri vocal. She associated with AIR, Doordarsan and various public and government of West Bengal programme. She has performed at Delhi, Mumbai, Patna, Tripura and Bangalore city. Sunanda has nine published Albums. Pratibadi Rabindranath, Biswabandanay Rabindranath from saregama HMV. Chalochitre Rabindranath launched by Dwijen Mukherjee. Alor Paths Jatri launched by Sunil Ganguly. Mahabiswe Mahakashe Rabindranath, Anondadharay Rabindranath, Lok Aloke Robi, Bandemataram, Anubhabe Rabindranath. All albums feature modern instrumentation that will appeal to the current generation and have been received well.
